Kerin O’Keefe writes: In Montalcino, there are traditionalists and there is Padelletti. This is one of Montalcino’s oldest families.

The winemaker writes: Our wines are full and elegant, with an attractive tannic texture, persistent and complex. The palate opens with notes of ripe fruit, supported by spice, menthol and balsam notes, and the finish is marked by flavors of chocolate, bees wax, and coffee bean.
