Steely, clean and complex. Fiano can age longer than most white wines and when we had the opportunity to taste a six year version it was starting to darken deliciously. Twelve months on the lees.

OM Wines writes: Picariello’s Fiano di Avellino '906' is a single vineyard bottling from Summonte, the higher of the two communes where Picariello's grapes come from. The winemaking is very similar to the regular Fiano di Avellino, but the wine is aged longer on the lees and held in bottle for an extended period before release.
